More B’s (blossoms, birds and blessings)

This week my DH brought me the first blossoms from the garden. A double blessing!

This weekend, I finished another flock of soft sculpture birds. I love making these little creatures. There is something very relaxing about the process.

Your birds turned out great! I have had that pattern printed out and waiting for a while now. They are perfect for spring! I guess I need to get busy and make some too. Happy sewing!

Thank you for your comments. I am addicted to making these little birdies. They are all hand sewn, which I find very relaxing. Also, I do enjoy reading your blog. It's creatively very inspirational.

The Story of "A Promise to Noah"

Genesis 9:12

For several years now, I have been making quilts for children in crisis, be it medical, emotional, social or otherwise. "A Promise to Noah" is my ministry named in honor of my grandson as well as for the Bible passage in which God promises Noah a rainbow after a storm . Each quilt carries with it a promise of hope. They are stitched with love and prayers so each child can find the necessary strength to face their specific challenge. Each quilt is unique and has been named. The recipient receives with the quilt a card with a message of encouragement and the name of their personal one-of-a-kind quilt.
